Once your contract is signed and deposit is received, your date is held specifically for you.  Therefore, cancellations are generally not honored unless you are able to assist in finding a replacement.  Rescheduling is generally accepted depending on the type of session you have booked.  I typically require at least 2 weeks notice to reschedule for anything that is not a wedding or elopement.  All of these details are specifically outlined in your contract.
